Dowsing is a poppy emo/indie band from Chicago, IL.  Chis French of Joie De Vivre officially joined the band about a month ago after accompanying them on lead guitar for their winter tour with Empire! Empire! (i was a lonely estate).  This EP has 5 songs from other sources.  The first song “That Would Be a Lot of Cool” is from their upcoming 7 inch split with Parker coming out soon on Count Your Lucky Stars records. Parker is a band featuring members Warren Franklin and Brandon Lutmer from Joie De Vivre. One of their songs from the split can be found here. Now back to this Dowsing EP, the second and third songs, “Midwest Living” and “Up to Me,” are from their upcoming full-length It’s Still Pretty Terrible on CYLS. The 4th track “Dancing in the Dark is a cover of the Bruce Springsteen club banger.  The final track is an acoustic version of “Driving,” the best song off their debut EP All I Could Find Was You. - TomB
